junk mail not filtered

I received from a yahoo.com account a mail asking to confirm a delivery time. (you can imagine in these festivities days, it is an actual topic) but I double-checked the sender address and then the domain (whois).

"

Whois Record for TagDriven.com

IP History3 changes on 3 unique IP addresses over 0 years

Registrar History3 registrars with 1 drop

Hosting History4 changes on 4 unique name servers over 7 years

"

so its a very scamming address

I changed the junk behaviour

I want to make sure that unchecking "message is addressed using my full name" resolves this.

I fear it will send all new contacts to junk

do you put in place controls over sender address?

Would you please suggest any other action or a good app for improving junk filtering on a mail aggregator (macOS or other)?

grazie

Hello atari rero,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you change the junk mail filter settings to reduce your junk mail, but are concerned about it sending mail from new contacts to junk. Adjusting filters always has the potential to screen some good mail messages and send them to the junk folder with the junk mail. You can look at the following support articles on using the filters to reduce junk mail on your Mac. But when the concern is with wanted emails getting caught by the filters, it is a good practice to screen what is being sent to the junk folder.
