Install iTunes on Windows 8.1

I get the error "iTunes requires that your computer is running Windows 10."

when I use the installer from apple.com/itunes

I downloaded the installer from there after clicking on

*On Windows 7 or Windows 8, you can download iTunes for Windows on Apple's website."

Make it make sense.

Hello darbus33. At the link you have posted, scroll down to “Looking for a previous version of iTunes?”, click the link, and download iTunes 12.10.10. I’m afraid that was the final version to support anything older than Windows 10.
