I forgot my screen time passcode but I'm not getting the option " forgot passcode" on my screen. I need to reset my phone to trade it in but it won't let me erase content without knowing the screen time passcode.

If you repeat the steps carefully and it doesn’t work you will have to restore your phone to factory settings and not restore any backups that were made after the Screen Time passcode was enabled.

The forgot password is not an option on my phone when trying to turn off screen time. Now what?
