I have seen that this question has been raised already. I just switched to eSIM on iPhone 12pro and and Hotspot option which is important for me has been disappeared. No issue from the carrier, has to do something with Apple.
Is there any news regarding this?

By any chance, have you tried following the steps outlined here: If Personal Hotspot is not working on your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular) If not, we recommend to follow these steps, and see if you can access the feature.
