How to fix static sound on airpods

We want to try to isolate the cause of the static sounds you are hearing on your AirPods. Have you had a chance to pair them with a different iPhone or different device to see if that same sound happens? If not, we would recommend trying that to see if the issue persists.

My right AirPod is making this static noise all of a sudden it never did that before and I didn’t let it drop or anything . After I play and audio or type a text or anything with sound while my AirPods are connected there is a small static sound after then it goes on for like 5 seconds then it maced this dot sound then stop. Same with my left but my left airpod isn’t that loud when it happens ? Btw I have a Gen 1 (6.8.8) AirPods .
