I’ve tried to set up screen time on my sons iPhone (I did it on his phone). I created a 4 digit passcode which I’ve got wrong too many times when I try inputting it. I’ve then tried to reset password but when I put my Apple ID and username in (which is 100% correct), it just comes up again as 10 failed attempts try again in an hour. No idea where to go from here as it just seems to be on a loop now? Any help greatly appreciated

Hello jonathonfromyork ad welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty with a forgotten Screen Time passcode.
Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
"If you forgot your Screen Time passcode, update your device to the latest iOS or iPadOS then reset your passcode. If you can’t update your device, erase it and set it up as new to remove the passcode and choose a new one. Restoring your device from a backup won't remove your passcode."
If you're not able to change the passcode, you'll have to erase the device and set it up as new, not from backup.
