how can you prove the person you sent money to actually got the money?

We see that you'd like to confirm money sent via Apple Pay was actually received, is that correct?

To view the status of a payment, either open the Wallet app or tap on the payment in the Messages thread, then tap on the relevant payment in the list. If it shows "Status: Completed" the payment was received successfully.
