iPhone 12 only supports Apple products, according to Geek Squad

On 11/22/2020, I upgraded to iPhone 12. It appears Anker SoundCore earbuds is not compatible with my new phone.


According to Geek Squad, and after extensive research, it appears Apple iPhone 12 is designed to work only with Apple products.


Anyone having the same issue?


It is like Apple is saying, if you want an Apple iPhone 12, you MUST buy Apple products, including Apple AirPods.


If Apple only wants Apple products compatible with its products, fine, it's their choice....If Apple disclosed this information beforehand, I would have not purchased this phone.

That's good to know that your Sony and Samsung earbuds work on your "iphone 12".


in addition to searching the net, I have Geek Squad Tech Support. The tech I worked with for about an hour yesterday on the phone went through several steps, including shutting down my MacBook, making sure my Apple TV was off; iPad was off, no other phones were on, restarted iPhone 12, made sure SoundCore ear buds were fully charged and in sync. I even twirled twice and clicked my heels...
