You can but be aware that if you use your new phone for awhile and then decide to use one of the following methods to add data from the old phone, all data that you have added to the new phone will be deleted before data from the old phone is migrated to it via: Transfer data from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
