Song that I have owned for years are now grayed out by Apple Music claiming they aren’t available in my region. Why should this effect me when I already own these songs?

I have owned some of these songs for years, and now Apple Music is refusing to let me listen to them, claiming they aren’t available in my region. Is there a fix for this?

Hi Aria_Nozomu,

We understand the concern over not being able to play music that you have previously purchased. We're happy to assist.

To clarify, are you an Apple Music subscriber? Or rather do you use the Music app solely for purchased or content synced through iTunes?

Additionally, have you recently changed your iTunes Store country?

We ask as this will help us isolate our next steps.

Let us know in a reply to this post, we'll follow up from there.

Cheers!
