Other folder takes up about 80 GB space

I have the 128 GB Mac Book Pro. My storage is full, when I click Manage Storage to find and delete large files, I see that Other folder, with size of about 80 GB. I'm not sure how to find what is in there or how to delete it. I wanted to update my Mac Book Pro, since I don't have space, I'm unable to update my Mac.

Try something like OmniDiskSweeper for a GUI to get a good look at itemized file size and location:

Thanks for the reply.

I did empty Trash and followed the steps in the Apple support link to clean up the files.

I googled and tried all options to clean the files, but still could not get to reduce the other folder size.

I have not tried OmniDiskSweeper, may be I will try that.

Are there any other tool that I could use to find the large files in the other folder so that I can delete them to free up space?

Thanks.
