So the battery being dead is preventing you from opening the Watch App on your iPhone or from getting a magnifying glass and looking on the back of your iPhone? Never heard of that, don't think I can help you.
There aren’t any serial numbers on the back of the watch. The IWatch app is not going to pair with my phone as it belonged to my husband who died 2 years ago. Thanks for the great help!
