just posting this as a visualizer, Apple has recognized the “purchase”. HBO max works fine yet Hulu does not recognize the account as one that has subscribed.

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities! We understand that the Hulu app doesn't recognize an active subscription billed through Apple.
Are you logged in to the Hulu app with the same Apple ID email address and password that you use for the iTunes & App Store or are you using different login credentials? If you're using a different login, try signing in with your Apple ID instead:

If that still doesn't work, you'll want to reach out to Hulu support to further determine why their app doesn't recognize your subscription.

I started the free trial on Hulu through the App Store, but the app itself continuously asks me to resubscribe and I cannot enter the app.
