Why is there gaps between loop cycles in logic pro x?

I get a pop noise in between my loop when I loop a track in logic pro x. I did not change the tempo after making the loop. I also went into settings and turned of the cycle pre-processing like someone said to do in a similar question but that did not work.

PS I am using the trial version of Logic

Windows, Windows 10

Actually, I should not have said that answered my question because I can fade out, but not in, on the loop. It just makes the gap more pronounced. I tried turning advanced tools on and off multiple times while trying to solve this. I would prefer to keep it off because I am new.

No answer, just a workaround.

You can apply fades after converting loops to regions. And as long there is enough pre-roll and post-roll available, you can apply crossfades too.

Select the looped regions, then choose Edit > Convert > Loops to Regions
