Apple TV cant view the full descriptions of movies

When I select a movie in Apple TV the description is often truncated with dots....

When I use the controller to try to swipe over and select the description Apple TV moves on to the next movie. I can move the controller up or down to rent, or buy or add to up next or even view a preview. But I cant go to the right to read the full description? This worked in previous version of Apple TV

How do I simply click on the description so that I can see the description??

In the Apple TV app, the description is repeated under the About heading near the bottom of the Details page, where it can be selected for full view/isolated pop-up view.
