Can I share my home access with a non-apple user

To share access it does need to be with an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch updated to the latest version of iOS or a Mac updated to the most recent version of macOS. You can find out more of the requirements here:

It depends. I see that you have posted this on the Apple support community which most likely means that you are talking about Apple HomeKit stuff. You can only share to Apple devices. For google home you can invite basically anybody. I
