Only one AirPod working on Safari/Chrome

After updating to Big Sur, whenever I connect my AirPods to my MacBook, only one works on Safari and Chrome (usually it's the right one, but if I leave only the left one in my ear that works as well, however never both). They both work as they should if I am using any other application.

I tried unpairing, resetting and pairing again but it didn't wok. Any ideas?

I found a solution that worked for me. It was an audio balance setting that was incorrect.

It's in the Audio settings

Left------Center----Right

It was not set properly. For no reason, it was on the far right.

I put it back in the Center position, and sound came back in my left AirPod.

I hope it works for you.

Hello Khratos.

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand that your AirPods have stopped working properly when connected to your MacBook Pro since updating the macOS. We will be glad to assist.

Let's reset the SMC and NVRAM to see if that helps:
