Apple Watch VO2Max measurement
Hey guys. Hope you’re all well. I’m in a confusing situation. I am a certified fitness trainer. I’m usually burning close to 1,000 kcals a day through combinations of High Intensity workouts.
Since the latest update to Apple Watch series 6, I got interested in monitoring VO2Max.
my readings are real low, e.g. 32-34.
I recorded these readings over 3 outdoor walks. Although I was actually walking in a spacious lawn more or less. And I don’t have gps tracking on.
The low VO2Max readings are confusing because my medical records show absolutely no issues to my heart/health in general. And I’m considered very fit compared to most. I’m very confused.
Anyone understand why this is happening? Any information would be good.
Thanks!
