My model says A1475. Does that make it at 4th generation?

I want to know which generation my IPAD is. I looked in the back and what I can read is model A1475.

Does that make it a 4th generation IPAD. I want to get a new cover.

No.

That is a 2013 iPad Air 1st generation.

It is still supported by Apple, for security updates, and is still supported by most third party iOS App developers, but that iPad model cannot be upgrade/update beyond ANY current or future version of iOS 12, currently at iOS 12.5.

Third party app support in the Apple iOS App Store will continue to diminish as time moves on.
