Buying a couple of DIMM Memory Modules?

Where the heck do you buy DIMM Memory Modules? I chatted with Apple Pre Sales and they said contact Apple Care. Is that really all I can do? Can't you buy these things on Apple.com or at the Apple Store? Good Lord how hard can it be to buy these things? It's like they don't want you to buy them!
