No, because you cannot use a MacBook Pro as a second display (some older iMacs can be used in Target Display Mode, but Mac notebooks cannot). You need to connect a proper external display.

The Arrangement tab in the Displays preferences pane only appears when an external display is successfully connected (or if in clamshell mode, you have >1 display connected).
Thank you. I bought the thunderbolt chord to connect my MacBook Pro to my other MacBook Pro and the arrangement tab did not appear.
