Im really getting ****** off. I keep getting "Your payment method was declined" when I try to purchase an e-mail voucher for a friend. I have spent 2.5 hours trying to solve this, I know how much my friend would appreciate it else I would tell apple to get fu$%ed since getting help does not seem possible. I have tried 2 different accounts. I just want to buy a freaking voucher or punch an apple employee. Anyone know what is going on?

    You're not alone, there are several threads out there with this problem, including myself! It's not been addressed properly, and I've now been waiting 3 days for iTunes support to get back to me! It's not your credit card, it's something to do with your account! I've tried different cards, and get the same 'declined' results!!!

    Same issue here!! I was updating my credit card because last on expied on July 2010. Now receiving same message!! Tried writing to apple tech support since I've tried a few diffarent accounts or credit cards! This is for sure an apple issue.. Trying to figure it out.. Did any of you jailbreak his iPhone? Maybe its a block by apple.. Not sure why should they do that, but still.... I'm going crazy!!

    I finally got someone from iTunes support to get back to me...There was no explaination to why there was, or how the problem was fixed, just a 'please try to execute your account in 24 hours, if problem persist contact us again' message! We'll see what happens in 24 hours!

    Theres something going on with the app store... they are doing something. I was able to have a "none" payment in order to download free apps. right now the same message is appearing when I'm using "none" as payment method... weired... ok I'll try waiting 24 hrs as you said, maybe they'll fix it.

    I'm also having this issue.. My wife got her IP4 this past weekend and I was able to gift her an app the day she got it. I tried to do it again a day later and I get this message "Payment has been declined. Please try another payment method." There is no problem ordering apps for myself, just when I try to gift an app.

    The only thing I've done lately that may have caused the issue was changing my email on my account. It's pretty annoying that this problem has been going on for months with other people and Apple can't find a fix to process a credit card payment??

    I am also having this problem. Changed method of payment. Works fine to purchase an app but problem persists if i want to gift one. Has anyone had any success in solving this issue?

    Same problem here....which is why I came to the forums looking for an answer. It's really irritating! You would think Itunes would fix this issue because they are loosing money! My niece just got an Ipod Touch and I was planning to send her a bunch of apps and songs for it. Oh well Itunes....your loss!!

    I have just encountered the same problem suddenly. It isn't my credit card, I just used it online not long ago. App store keeps telling me to verify my information - and keep saying that payment method was declined!!! I have just emailed them. I hope they will solve the problem.

    I have been trying 5 different credit card. All of them were declined!!!!!!!!

    I called the APPLE.com. They are not able to fixed it!!!!

    SAME HERE! It's been like this for a few months already for me! I can't even buy apps for myself!
