Mar 6, 2014 5:56 AM in response to MatJ333by kymmy0,I have just had this same problem payment method declined to update a free game which really p***ed me off but just transferred just a little bit more money into my bank account and then put in same card details as before when prompted. It accepted it straight away and updated my game so I am thinking u need a certain amount of money in your bank for it not to decline, Problem Solved, thank god, been playing same game which gives daily bonuses for over 3 weeks lol.

Mar 18, 2014 3:03 AM in response to MatJ333by Abdul Muhaimin,I guess, Apple has not taken the app debt we bought several days ago. But inconvenient for customers, clients want to buy a app or game to be purchased.

Mar 31, 2014 9:28 PM in response to MatJ333by Alejandrafrompy,Hello everyone. Same problem for a week already. Finally decided to read a couple comments and try all the suggestions. I ended up calling my bank, telling them the problem. Their RESPONSE: Apple blocks credit cards, for our own security, so they can request it to unblock it again, since I called and requested it, and I'm the one using that account and that credit card. No fraud. So I have to wait 40/50 minutes untill trying again with my credit card. So, I hope it works!
Also, Im from South America, but maybe it works with your respective Banks.

Apr 2, 2014 11:57 PM in response to MatJ333by arofahakb,Hay everyone,
I'm using Visa and have the same problem.
I just buy a 5th IGC, and when I try to buy the 6th it failed and says my payment method was declined. When I try to add my credit card again, it show wrong security number.
I sent some email to iTunes Support, and they promise me to fix the problem.
Hope its right.

Apr 13, 2014 1:12 AM in response to Kelle2000by pyjamez,Same issue too, started a week ago. trying to do free app updates and got this error, tried re-entering card details, restarted my ipod, changed my passwords aswell, still same error so gave up. What annoys me is 1. app updates shouldnt need my card information and also i realised i have $12 of store credit still. really annoyed coz now i cant buy any music either. at least im not the only one dealing with this!

Apr 13, 2014 6:30 AM in response to pyjamezby fromsouth,Yes, you are not the only one, everyone who gives card to itunes that does not pass authorization has the same problem. Next part is hard to figure out why. Bank stops payments? Not enough funds to cover previous charge? Just no funds? Fix is easy and always the same - use another card. Make sure you enter correct address to a dot.

Apr 18, 2014 12:46 PM in response to MatJ333by KenMAB,I have the same problem, I just bought an iPhone and started logging on it to download a free app, and that's what it said, but now when I log on to AppStore on my Macbook it says the same thing. I don't know why logging on to new devices would 'cause such compromising chaos, when all I wanted to do was download a free app. It's not even my bank or my account because I have used it a month ago with the same Apple ID and it worked, also with other payments as well, but it only happened when I tried logging on to my iPhone. How do I resolve this?

Apr 18, 2014 12:50 PM in response to fromsouthby KenMAB,Changing to another card is not a fix, you're just ignoring the problem. Plus I only have one card, and I maintain my balance really well, so it shouldn't be the cause of this.

I don't think I am ingnoring the problem, I do not have it - you do. I do think you are ignoring good advice, but hey it is your life/account/problem/card.
