Nov 12, 2015 4:51 PM in response to MatJ333by benitol3,I fixed it. Apparently my CC address was not the same as my debit card address. I found this by looking at my CC statement address.

Nov 14, 2015 7:51 PM in response to MatJ333by HoraDragonChild,I Have plenty of money in my account, I use PayPal, but it still says it is declined even though I use the correct information it would still say it. I tried several different cards, still said the same thing and they too had enough money in them, I thought about what the rest of you said on here and it kind of matches but what doesn't is the money amount problem so that's not the case. Which means that it may be because of me using two systems, an iPad and iPhone, on the same Apple account but that can't be right either because it was working just fine until I ordered a replacement PayPal card, that's when everything went to the pits, for some reason the App Store started acting like my original card was cancelled several weeks before its expiration and this just happened to take place the same day of ordering a new card? If this is an error in their system it's really foolish and ignorant of the consumers, if they would only listen then they would be losing customers for such a *snarks* I dare say a shity reason, right? Excuse my language it's not meant to be offensive im just getting the point across.

Dec 13, 2015 7:51 AM in response to dopey623by TLERL II,This was my issue and an easy fix, either update your billing address with Apple to match your address that your bank has on you or update your address with your bank to match the billing address listed with Apple.

Jan 29, 2016 10:41 PM in response to MatJ333by mircica101,Hi everyone,
I had the same problem with my account.
I had initially a PrePaid Card for purchases, but then I tried to switch to a normal Credit Card (Mastercard) it kept saying "payment was declined".
Then I though of trying to update the payment info through the IPhone Store App.
Found a free app, and when I tried to download it, it asked me to verify my payment info.
That's when I was able to add my new Credit Card instead of the Prepaid.
Hope this works for you too!

Jan 30, 2016 7:24 AM in response to MatJ333by itunes999,- 1. Check your address and zipcodes to make sure they are the same as on your bank statement
- 2. If you recently changed your computer or downloaded itunes to a new computer. Basically if you authorized two computers it is very likely that you will have this problem. Just go to your old computer deauthoritize the computer and REMOVE Itunes from that computer. Then go to your new computer and edit your itunes account payment info.
- 3. Check if you have any un-paid balance amount from your account. If it is present iTunes Store wont accept any cards and also it don’t let to buy free apps too.
- 4. If it is very emergency make the payment using iTunes gift cards iTunes Gift Cards are easy to give, and you can buy them from Apple and from thousands of other retailers in a range of denominations. And every card works in the iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store, or toward an Apple Music membership.

Feb 4, 2016 10:41 PM in response to MatJ333by Campbell_28,I had the same issue for about 3 weeks, the app store did not let me download any app telling me that there was a problem with my previous purchase, then I change my billing info to another card and it say that it was not valid. Plus, it didn't give the option of "none" so I had to put something. I tried and tried and nothing.... So I ereased my address and my phone number in the billing info and rewritten them again with my new card info and it worked.

May 12, 2016 1:16 AM in response to Shellie'sby @Yenier,I actually contacted iTunes Support and they gave me the solution in less than 2 hours. It is quite simple actually:
On your phone go to: Settings/iTunes & App Store/Apple ID/View Apple ID. Once inside your Account select Payment Information. There select None and press Done.
Once you're done that will delete your previous info from the system and clear out every possible error.
Go back to your Account and select the desired Payment Type. Fill up the requested information and make sure everything is exactly as it was when you created your bank card (Family Name, Given Name, Address...etc). Press Done and hopefully your problem will be solved.
Hope it helps! Have a nice day!
