iMessage activation

I activated my phone number for iMessage when I bought my new iP11 last Sunday but up until now, it's still "waiting for activation". How can it be reolved? Though, I can already send and receive imessages from my friends and family, however my icloud email is the username that appears on the sender's name, not my sim number. How can I resolve these problems? Thank u 😊

try turning iMessage off and back on. Settings > Messages

If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support


when you send a text that shows up as your iCloud email account you'd need to go to

Settings > Messages > Send & Receive

On my phone, everything is checked in the upper section.. in the lower section for starting new conversations, you should have the phone number checked.

After this, you cannot continue the existing thread/conversation in Messages. You'd want to start a new one.
