Delete Immediately is the same as putting the item in the trash then emptying the trash, but does both in one step (and doesn't permanently delete the other items in the trash).

Did you try...(?) Just a modicum of testing can answer many question going forward.


—One deletes a selected item in the .trash



—The other empties the trash
