Trying to connect a Canopus ADVC110 video converter to my Imac which has Thunderbolt 2
I purchased Apples Thunderbolt to Firewire Adaptor (MD464LL/A) but it is for a Firewire 800
The ADVC 110 uses a bigger Firewire think it is a 400
Would adding 400 to 800 fire wire adaptor make this work?

You need two adapters. Thunderbolt 2 to Firewire 800 (which it seems you already have) and then a FW800 to FW400 adapter.
