Why can't I display Fitness+ via Airplay on to MacBook Pro?

Happy Christmas, Happy Holidays , Happy Winter Solstice :)

Firstly I was super keen for the release of Fitness + and therefore like many immediately ran the version upgrades on my my watch and and iPhone .. however when I went to try and join the fitness+ class I found I couldn't display on my MacBook Pro?

As a family we have 5 iPhone, 2 Mac Book Pro and 3 iPads. Two of the iPads only run 12.5 so not compatible and the newsiest is my daughters and therefore not mine to use.

I refuse to by an Apple TV device as we have already spent a fortune on apple devices and just want to display the fitness+ feed from my phone to my MacBook Pro, any ideas anyone?
