How do you delete sub folders within a mailbox
Right click or Control click on the folder you wish to delete. You will see options appear. Choose Delete Mailbox.
You will see a warning message Deleting a mailbox permanently removes it and any messages it contains. This action cannot be undone, and you are asked to confirm the deletion.
If you want to delete a mailbox on an iOS device, tap on Edit at the top of the mailbox list. Then tap on the Mailbox that you want to delete. Then tap on Delete Mailbox in the next screen.
You might want to move the emails from that mailbox to another mailbox if you want to save them, otherwise when you delete the mailbox, all of the emails inside it will be deleted.
Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, I do not want to delete the entire mailbox, just the sub folders contained in the inbox. This was my work email mailbox that I was allowed to keep after retiring. I don’t need all of the subfolders that I had created over the years. I was able to delete them from my laptop but I can’t seem to delete them from my iPhone or iPad.
