I am having the same problem as jacquelineo272. I am using one iPhone to find another. It says that the lost phone is in my house (or in the immediate vicinity of my house) but I can't find it. But when I turn on "notify when found" I get a message that says "your iPhone has been seen" But it doesn't say what this means. So please explain! I have not marked the phone as lost since it appears to be in my house, but should I? Finally, when I first started looking for the phone it showed it had low battery and made a sound, which I didn't hear. But now it says that it is "waiting to connect" to make a sound, which I assume is because the battery is dead. But please let me know what it means when it says that "your iPhone has been seen" and whether that can help me to find it! Thanks

Yes This does not answer the question, I have read this page. What activates ´your phonie was seen’ is it when another Apple device passes it? Is it when the current device is connected the internet. My phone was saying every hour it has been seen? What if someone steals it and puts different sim in? Does it still work? Can it still be seen.

there is nothing in forums explaining this as I have searched

Jacquelineo272, for whatever it is worth I found my phone in my house. The battery was dead and it was not connected to the internet and I never marked the phone as lost. So my conclusion is that the message "your iPhone has been seen" must have something to do with the fact that the iPhone I was using to look for it was in close proximity to the one that was lost. But of course this is just a pure guess! Hopefully the Apple people can give you a more definitive answer -- including why if you click on this message it doesn't explain what it means! Good luck!
