Having trouble updating phone

I have no service for 2 days. I tried to do update on the computer it states there is an error. I can’t work without my phone and I am going into labor any day now please help

you said the phone is no longer shown after clicking 'ok', try unplugging it from the computer and plugging back in..

I had to get off the phone with verizon customer service, i was using someone elses phone. so im not sure how to get back to where i was because when i clicked "ok" my phone disappeared off the screen.

I hooked it up to computer, updated, then it asked me if i wanted encryption, I said no, it started another update. when it was finished it said there was an error with updating.
