My iPhone rings for I think people in my phone book. But it silences all my incoming call I don’t have do not disturb on. And someone helped me today and said I had it ringing to only favorites but it still silencing my calls ?? I’m going nuts missing all my important calls.
Have you checked Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers to see if that is off?

Thanks. I actually like that option as I don't get any spam, scam, marketing calls with it on and the few legitimate calls that aren't in my contact list leave a voicemail. I did end up adding some things to my contacts that I wouldn't have otherwise.
But it is good to know how to turn it off too.
