Thanks Javaliga for your reply but it’s not quite the information I’m looking for.

My question relates to two people BOTH wearing Apple Watches wanting to do a workout with the new Apple Fitness+ App, at the same time, in the same room with the one App?

Im wanting to know (given when one person only is working out, the App pairs with their watch and shows their health stats on the tv screen or whatever device they are using to complete the workout on), can TWO people pair with the ONE App and record health data etc at the same time?

Or is it one person, one Apple Watch and one Apple Fitness + workout at any time?

Hope that makes sense and thank you for taking the time to reply.

I have the same question and the best I can tell the answer is no using the ATV. It asks you to specifically which of the Apple watch users will be exercising. I can not see an option to select more than one. I my situation it show my wife and my watches and askes to select. I am not sure if this means both people can not exercise at the same time but it only displays the one person watch metrics on the ATV.

Guess this is coming later, not sure why apple did not think of this especially since they allow families to have one subscription, they did not think people would workout together.

That’s exactly the same for us Mustang, which is why I posed the question. From what I’ve found out, like you, at this stage it can’t be done.

It, to me, does seem like a rather obvious oversight by Apple that multiple watch users may want to work out together in the same household, especially with Covid lockdowns occurring all over the world. Maybe (& hopefully) that will be rectified in some future update.

Other than the fact only one users stats and metrics on shown on the ATV screen, both people can still work out and record the work out as part of fitness+, the second person can run it from their phone, they just need to turn down the volume and start the activity at the same time at the person on the ATV.

This is a work around but Apple need to allow more than one person to have their stats show on the AppleTV. We have our ATV projecting on a wall in our basement, It full size and great since you can easily see what they are doing verses working from a small display.
