Is MST Support anywhere in the pipeline for Big Sur?
The only thing stopping me from moving to Mac now is lack of MST support, something even the simplest of Windows laptops can have.
I’ve seen various work around are available via docks, but I feel this is not really an adequate solution.

AFAICT, DisplayPort MST is not supported.
That does NOT mean you cannot have multiple displays, but just not daisy chained.
Depending on the mac model and the resolution , you can attach several external displays. I regularly attach two external displays to my 16" MBP, and on occasion have even attached three.
Can you give us some references to what you are after?
The only MST that I could find that was related to computers is a network protocol that only matters to network administrators, and should be completely transparent to client devices...

Hey, this is for DisplayPort MST. So daisy chaining monitors basically. Especially with Macs having lesser ports by generation, it’s almost becoming a necessity! :)
Yeah that’s what I know of at the moment. It’s a shame, as I will soon have two daisy chained monitors that have a USB-C hub built in. The new MacBook Air was going to be a perfect choice but it looks like I will have to wait!
