Does tap to wake drain batter? Since it is always listening for a tap?

Just curious. It is very conveniant and I love the feature on my iPhone 11, but I am also anxious to save as much battery life as possible 😭

Nothing is waiting for you to tap, rather it listens when you tap.

Look at it this way all apps are not waiting for you to open, they open when you tap. iPhone is not waiting to call, it makes call when you tap phone etc
