Let’s try this another way seeing as your still being vague.
Have you tried turning the device on and off?
Have you restored the device?
Are you using a screen protector?
Have you cleaned the screen?
Have you noticed it not working on one particular app?
It is the entire screen? Part? One corner?
Yes, I have turned the iPad Pro on and off and restarted it many times. Restarting it helps for an hour or so.
I do not use a screen protector.
I have cleaned the screen.
Same problem on all the apps I use.
The entire screen has the problem but sometimes it us better near the edges.

That is most strange.
I know there are a LOT of 2017 iPad Pro models with touch screen issues, but this touch screen issue has not been very pervasive with the older 2015/2016 iPad Pro models.
I own two of these 2015/2016, 12.9 iPad Pro models and am not having any touch screen issues.
The internal logic board design and layout is different in the first 2015/2016 iPad Pro models and changed in later year iPad Pro models.
When, exactly, did this touch screen issue start occurring?
Have you ever dropped your iPad Pro?
Does it have any screen or aluminium back panel/case damage?
What kind of iPad Pro case do you use?
Have you tried taking it out of its case and try using it?
The issue began about 6 months ago.
The iPad has never been dropped and there is no damage to the screen or the back.
I use a Logitech case with a built in keyboard. The keyboard works flawlessly.
Just as when I reset the iPad, when I take it out of the case it works better for a short period of time.
I did not use the case or keyboard until this problem developed. The on screen keyboard started to only work intermittently.

Your iPad Pro is long out of warranty now.
You can try and contact Apple Support at the support link at the very top, right hand corner of every Web page of these support communities.
Not sure how much they will be able to do for you, though.
