iCloud email server

I have an option in my iPhone se 2020 addition. I cannot sign nor can I encrypt my email. Geek squad says it’s because I am not using an imme server or whatever but I went thru some hack situation on an Android where I could not change my settings at all which is what is happening now. Someone please tell me my phone has not been compromised. I also have aggregated disc writes in my analytics which I have never seen before.
