answer FB messenger video calls without unlocking

Everytime i get a FB messenger video call and my phone is locked, i have to unlock it to see the video but when i do theres no video of the other party, it only shows my face in the corner. Is there a setting or way in Messenger to answer a video call without the delay of unlocking the phone?
