USB-C cable to charge the AirPods but without the charger

Why Apple is supplying a USB-C cable to charge the AirPods but without the charger? I cannot plug this wire anywhere. That is so stupid and insulting from Apple.

Thank you for your answer but it is only a minority of laptop user who have an apple laptop. All accountants and lawyers offices as an example use other laptop brands. So sorry but to give a USBC cable to clients using mostly other stuff than a MacBook is like insulting them.

Because it does not supply the charger anymore with any AirPods. It does tell you that on the apple website.

You can use any wire with a lightning connector on it to charge the AirPods, you do not have to use the cable that comes in the box.

It's not stupid or insulting

Most will people will use it, either they have a MacBook which has USBC connector or they have a wall charger which has a USBC charger.

I would say the majority do use it, I use mine on my MacBook Pro 2020.

It clearly states on the website what cable comes with it and the fact there is no wall charger.

I am not really sure the point of this post

Correction: there are 100 million iPhone user in the US for 45% of market share and 900 million worldwide.....and the MacBook only has 10% of US market share. Worldwide there are only 100 million MacBook user. So why did you say that people who use apple products will have a MacBook?

The majority of people who use apple products will have a MacBook, especially with the new M1 MacBook coming out.
