iMac continues beeping

imac Stoped to come on after a power surge. It keeps beeping and the screen is blank. Can a power surge affect the ram because I read from here that the continues beeping is mostly ram related. Please help.

iMac vertical Blue Line on screen Suddenly apear Blue line on iMac screen. First i replaced my RAM > power on > beeping. I just shut down and remove the RAM and restart again... After couple of minuts i saw just this vertical blue line on the left screen side.

IMAC is not turning on My fairly new IMAC just makes a continual tone (not really a beep, it is more of the turn on/turn off tone), when turning on. Screen remains blank. It sounds like the "power down" beep. Have tried command option p and r buttons, command r, nothing seems to work. Taking this to Apple at this point. Very disappointed with this platform at this time.
