I'm trying to setup my kids new iPod touch but the payment step is saying my postcode is invalid. I'm in Ireland and same details are not an issue for Amazon, Google etc. seems to be a commonly reported issue, but frustrating ☹️

Just to confirm, after you enter the payment method, do you see a message saying the payment method was declined? If so, the information and steps here may help: If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store
