I can't Upgrade to macOS Big Sur

hello I can't Upgrade to macOS Big Sur 11 each time I try I gets an error ''The operation couldn’t be completed. (PKDownloadError error 8.)'' I use the Macbook pro 2018 13''. please I need help thanks

Apple has some very specific requirements on How to upgrade to Big Sur especially computer compatibility, Empty Space Requirements, Application Compatibilities - Big Sur does NOT Support any 32 bit Applications. Note - an upgrade from High Sierra to any new macOS is a major step. Due diligence would require having a Time Machine Backup before attempting any upgrade. Added - two Tested Bootable Clones each to separate drives.
