Question

Mac login screen icon does not update

My lockscreen/login screen does not update the image for my Apple ID when I update it on system preferences. It updates on my iCloud account on my iPhone but not on Mac. Help please as this is an annoying glitch...

I suspect this file, close Sys Prefs, move this file to the desktop & try setting it again...

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.plist

~ tilde indicates hidden Local Library

Apple hid the Users' Library folders...

Method 1:

From the Finder, select the Go menu at top of the screen, and choose Go to Folder.
In the window that opens, enter ~/Library, and click Go.
