My phone number doesn’t show up on new phone?

How do i move my phone number to my new IPhone 12? It is still on my IPhone 8 and so calls still go there.

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14

You either need to move your SIM card from the old phone to the new one or contact your carrier to activate the new phone.
