Updating my MacBook Pro Retina

Can I update my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) to macOS 10.14 or later? Trying to update my Photoshop App to CC 2021.

Yes, the early 2015 MBP can upgrade as far as Big Sur 11.1, though with Catalina and later, no 32-bit applications will be supported. If you go the Big Sur route, you will need to to free up 45 GB of storage if upgrading from an operating system earlier than High Sierra 10.13, or 35.5 GB if High Sierra or later. Always perform a TIme Machine backup before you upgrade, and verify that your printer/scanner vendor provides device driver support for the target operating system. Not all software vendors have, or plan support for Big Sur yet, so check with them.


How to get old versions of macOS. Only use Safari for access to that link and the its links to the upgrade installers.
