Apple Watch Maps Favorites Not Syncing
I’ve noticed that my series 6 Apple Watch won’t load/sync my Map’s Favorites or the “contacts” through a Maps search. I’ve tried turning on/off my maps iCloud sync. I’ve tried re syncing all data multiple times with my watch. I also tried signing in and out of my Apple account. Everything else is perfectly synced on my watch, the contacts, messages, photos all work great but the Maps favorites and maps contacts don’t show up. If I search a location on my iPhone, that location will then show up in my recent searches on my watch so I know it’s “syncing” some information but the favorites never show up. The only way that I can get my “home” and “work” locations to show up on my watch is to create a ‘My Guides’ with my work and home location on my iPhone and then it shows up as the “My Guides” on my watch. Which also tells me that things are syncing between my watch and iPhone. But it annoys me that my favorites still don’t show up on my watch. Also, if I change my “work or home” Favorites on my maps on my iPhone, it updates automatically on my iPad, with no issues which tells me that iCloud is syncing/working.
Another thing I noticed is when I go to maps on my watch and click Search and click on my “contacts” (within the maps app) it says that I have “no contacts.” Even though all my contacts and messages work perfectly on my watch.
please let me know if anyone has had this issue or knows how to fix it. Thanks
