how can i synchronize my contacts between my mac air and my new iphone 11?

The easy way: On the phone go to Settings/[your name]/iCloud and turn on the switch for Contacts. On your MacBook Air go to System Preferences, Apple ID (or iCloud on older versions of Mac OS) and check the box for Contacts.


This will sync iCloud contacts. If some of your contacts are associated with email accounts such as Yahoo, gmail, MS Exchange, etc, you must set up the same account on both the iPhone and your MBA.
