iWatch 6 in cellular mode with Jio

I am using iWatch 6 (A2376)with iPhone SE with Jio connection as eSIM. After setting up the mobile data, iWatch shows it's connected but iWatch app in phone says carrier does not support Apple watch currently. Both devices have latest s/w upgrades. Both Apple and Jio seems to have no clue. Any help/pointers plz.

Carrier doesn't support Watch Hi. I use Virgin Mobile with iPhone X. I just got the Apple Watch 3 for my birthday. However, Virgin Mobile does not support the Watch. At all. Would anyone happen to know if there is another way I can use my watch with cellular? I was thinking that I could use Sprint since they are basically the same. I asked Virgin Mobile, but the rep said she did not know. Then I called the Sprint store, and the girl there said, "No." So I thought there might be someone on the Community who knows for sure. Apple Watch Hi! I recently switched my wireless carrier form ATT to T-Mobile. I have a new apple watch series 3 with built in cellular but I can't connect it to my phone. The rep at T-mobile was unable to connect it when i switched carriers and I haven't been able to either. Should I address this issue wit Apple or T-mobile? I can make an appointment at an Apple store if necessary. Thanks! Janelle
