How to give the app access to photos in Mac

I have MacBook Pro, and OS Mojave 10.14.6.

But the problem is with Affinity Photo. I cannot save any of my works because I should give to this app an access to my photos. If I go to System Preferences, Security&Privacy, Photos I cannot see this needed app on list. How can I get Affinity Photo there? As we can see I have other Affinity products there, and something else but AP is not available to tick. How to handle it?

You can give full disk access to Affinity, also access to "Files & Folders".

Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy, select "Files &Folders" in the sidebar and click "+" to add Affinity.

Do the same with "Full Disk Access". Then you should be able to save the Affinity files in some folder on your disk. Photos cannot read the files in the afphoto format however.

You can only give applications access to Photos, that are actively asking to be allowed to access it. I am not seeing Affinity in this list either. Which version of Affinity do you have installed?

When I edit a photo in Affinity and then use the command "Share > Add to Photos", the edited version is saved to Photos as a new image. What is not working, however, is to use Affinity as a photo editing extension, only the specialised extensions extensions "Affinity Retouche" and "Affinity Haze Removal" are working, when called from Photos.

I have the version 1.8.6.

Practically I do not need the access to Photos library. I just noticed that I cannot even grant access there for Affinity Photo as it is not listed. The main problem is that I just cannot save as .afphoto file. I can export in various file formats but I want to save it in affinity format for later editing and practising.

If I will try to save then only some failure notices appear. Screenshots under here. And personally I have permissions to do everything with this laptop. I even checked it too.

There is no reason to ever install or run any 3rd party "cleaning", "optimizing", "speed-up", anti-virus, VPN or security apps on your Mac.  This user tip describes what you need to know and do in order to protect your Mac: Effective defenses against malware and other threats - Apple Community

It's recommended that you uninstall BitDefender according the developer's instructions.
