My experience with PC keyboards on Macs is that they work at a very basic level--text entry--but whether the F-keys and Mac startup combos work is something for the Las Vegas oddsmakers.

The last one I used with Win under BootCamp had the ALT and Windows key functions reversed from what K Shaffer's article shows. No amount of preference tickling made a difference. There is a lot of trial and error involved.

Maybe it is marked with the Windows symbol?

Sometime you really, really need an Apple keyboard for those old Macs.
